LIFE AT UNI

Here I am finally with some free time before lunch. I am in WOLFVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA. WOOT It's so amazing here compared to Toronto. I open my blinds in the morning and see the Bay of Fundy, highest tides in the world. The air is clean and salty smelling. Yes you can smell the salt off the bay. I'm sure I'm one of the few who can...cause I'm not from here.

School here is pretty cool too. All of our notes and assignments are completed through our computers. We are all apart of a network (including our proffs) that allow us to e-mail each other if there is a problem or ask for help on assignments. We use very little paper. Only problem is if there is a crash...or the internet is down, everyone is effected. It sucks. We wander around complaning and tell each other how horrible life is without internet.

We refer to our profs by their first name which is pretty cool. I've always called after my teachers using SIR or MISS!

This term the Acadia Theatre Company is putting on a production called RHINOCEROS and I am one of the Assistant Stage Managers:D I'm so excited to start. This is the most organized I have ever been in my life. I'm so proud of it too. I have my production binder all need and pretty looking. ASMs pretty much know all and are the go-betweens for the crew and the director...just so you know...

Food here is pretty good I must say. Some days it sucks, but mostly it's yummy and has a wide variety of things to eat. We have themes sometimes like Asian or Mexican or Carribean. Sundays are my favourite cause we get a ICE CREAM SUNDAY BAR....with all these possible toppings....and the best part is I'm on the unlimited meal plan....which means I can go when I want as many times as I want and eat however much I want. This makes me very happy. THE BEST PART IS....my Res building....is right beside meal hall:D

Time to go eat my stomach is calling...

*sigh*

August has definitely lived up to my expectations. It's non-stop GO GO GO GO GO! I have spent my entire earnings this summer and have now had to use up part of my savings to buy stuff for uni. MY GOD. Why do things have to be so expensive??!?!?!? I'm not even DONE shopping yet!!! But no worries...its all worth it.

I have been shopping and packing all week....2 weeks left! THEN I'M GONE :D:D:D

Sunday we're going camping....then once we get back...I have one day to keep packing/shop more.....the the next day I'm back up north to my dads....hopefully the trip wont take over an hour this time...then I'm back Monday for an exciting birthday party for my sister with all of her friends...Tuesday I hope to spend with MY friends...Wednesday I crunch down and pack absolutely everything up.....and Thursday at 6:00am *sigh* I take off for school.....22 hour drive....with a 4 hour fairy ride tagged onto that...I'm looking forward to it though.....gonna have to keep myself busy...maybe drive part way???.....yeah????

But for now I'm going to go back to sleep....had to get up early to beat off the old ladies from taking the bed sheets I wanted....

August Days

August is proving to be a busy month! Started out with the release of BREAKING DAWN....the last book in a series called twilight...best books ever....up late that night...

NEXT MORNING off on a 3 hour trip up to Orillia an a greyhound bus stuck in traffic to visit my dad for the long weekend. Worth it though....Love it there:D

THEN i couldnt find my bathing suit....so now i think i have to buy another one....sounds like an exciting trip to WAL-MART

THIS WEEK.....BACKSTREET BOYS CONCERT ON THURSDAY!!!! WOOOOOOOOT.....Lawn section 5 FYI.....i hope to smuggle in some FOOD STUFFS

WEEKEND INCLUDES me and mel chillin UP AT HER COTTAGE....we're gonna go tubing....but no one knows how to operate the boat so we've decided to hook it up to a canoe and GO FOR IT....sounds like an amazing time to ME:D...

NEXT WEEK...SHOPPING....finishing up what i have to get ready and packed for uni....LEAVING SOOOOOON......EXCITED

OH HAIIIII

SOOOOOO....I'm sitting in my room. I have to pack for Uni and thin out all of my things because I won't be able to fit it all inside my Rez Room. I have most of my things in boxes now....and my desk is covered with things I want to bring with me. I'm going to have nothing to my name by the end of the summer, watch.

I found out that my Rez building has a big screen TV ANDDDD and POOL TABLE on the first floor. HOW SICK IS THAT?!?!?!....I know what I'll be doing in my spare time.....

I'm looking forward to moving out at the end of august but I'm not looking forward the 20 hour drive...but meh.
